"I was so thankful to find Kate to help me train Lila to not bolt when I walked her on the leash. She had already face-planted me a couple of times, and I needed that to not happen, or at least, be much less likely to happen. But Lila and I learned so much more than that. She learned that she liked doing what I asked her to do, and I learned to enjoy walking with my dog much more than before. I didn’t think I’d use some of the training that Kate taught us, but I’ve been surprised that those “tricks” have been useful at times. Lila has definitely learned more self-control.

"Indie passed Kate Hendriks' Welcome Home 5 Week Training Program. We contacted Kate as we needed a bit of help with Indie when she came to stay with us. She was very skittish and wouldn't come near me unless I was holding food. Kate came to our house, brought easy to follow directions and homework for Indie and I to work through. After the training, Indie has come out of her shell quite a bit. She's happy to see me and will come over and hang out with me when I'm relaxing. Thanks again Kate for all the help with our girl."

"For the past 4 weeks Kate has trained my dog Tyson (and me 😊) in the Walk and Train program. Tyson is a 10 yr. old boxer so I wasn’t sure he could be taught new tricks. WOW she would send precise and clear homework to me with time to review. Kate would teach each exercise with me with many practices during our session until she knew I understood. I’ve seen a drastic change in Tyson’s behaviors and look forward through more practices to grow in these new skills. Kate is a very knowledgeable and passionate trainer in her field. "We recently adopted Beamish, a 9-month old goldendoodle, from the shelter. We thought we could train him ourselves since we have a dog at home, but quickly felt overwhelmed.
