Kate Hendriks, FDM, offers private dog training in London, Ontario. This means she works with in clients in their own homes and neighbourhoods.

All training plans are fully customized and taught by Kate Hendriks, a Certified Family Dog Mediator in L.E.G.S. Applied Ethology who has also completed specialized courses in holistic reactivity as well as in aggression.

Essential Life Skills

This is a four-week program specifically designed for a dog who just needs the basics. You and your dog will learn everything you need to know to start living the good life!

Ideal for puppies who are at least 10 weeks of age and adult dogs who do not have major behavioural issues.

It covers:

1. Recall

2. Sit, Stay

3. Loose leash walking

4. Calmness and relaxation

5. Impulse control

6. Breed-Specific Enrichment

7. Breed Awareness

8. Body Language 101

Total Cost: $460 for 4 sessions, or

Per Session: $115 for 60 minutes

Welcome Home

This is a five-session program specifically designed for a dog who has been recently adopted or rescued, and feels a bit skittish or fearful and is struggling to adapt to their home environment.

A behavioural assessment will be performed during the first session. This ensures that the training received is suitable for and tailored to you and your dog.

It covers:

1. Decompression and stress relief

2. Essential Life Skills

3. Breed-Specific Enrichment

4. Breed Awareness

5. Body Language 101

Total Cost: $575 for 5 sessions, or

Per Session: $115 for 60 minutes

Depending on the severity of the issues, additional sessions may or may not be recommended.

Reactivity & More!

Many common problems, like reactivity, noise sensitivity and predatory chasing, are complex in nature and will require a thorough behavioural assessment before training begins.

The amount of training sessions needed will vary on a case-by-case basis.

The behavioural assessment is approximately 90 minutes and costs $175.

Each follow-up session is $115 for 60 minutes.

If you decide to purchase a three-session package or six-session package after the behavioural assessment, a $50 credit will be put towards the total cost of training.
